President Donald Trump has justified his new tariffs against Canada, Mexico and China as a way to hold the countries accountable for fentanyl in the U.S. that he says stems from them.

Trump during his address to Congress on Tuesday night said that Canada and Mexico “have allowed fentanyl to come into our country at levels never seen before.”
