Nicholas D’Amour Wins Silver Medals at 140th US Target Nationals and United States Open

Nicholas D’Amour

After a great qualification round at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with a 16th seed and losing a close five-set match in his first elimination round against Japan, Nicholas D’Amour won Silver Medals at both the 140th United States Target Nationals and the United States Open. Nicholas demonstrated that he can compete with the best. In both tournaments, Nicholas came in second to Brady Ellison of the United States, the reigning Olympic Silver Medalist.

In extremely windy conditions, D’Amour competed against the best in the United States and a team from Chinese Taipei. In the Target Nationals, he scored a 1322 after two 72 arrow rounds over two days, second only to Brady Ellison’s 1350.
