22% of Voters Cast Ballots Early with 6,832 Participating Ahead of November 5 Election Day

Early Voting for the 2024 USVI General Election saw a strong turnout as 6,832 residents, or 22% of registered voters, cast ballots. Supervisor Caroline Fawkes encourages those who missed Early Voting to participate on Election Day, November 5, 2024.

The Early Voting period for the 2024 U.S. Virgin Islands General Election has successfully concluded, with notable participation from electors across the territory. Supervisor of Elections, Caroline Fawkes, expressed satisfaction with the turnout, noting the strong engagement from early voters over the 15-day period. A total of 6,832 residents participated in Early Voting, representing 22 percent of registered voters territory-wide. The turnout breakdown included 2,887 voters in St. Thomas, 3,781 in St. Croix, and 164 in St. John.

For electors who were unable to participate in Early Voting, Election Day provides another opportunity to cast ballots on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Voting Centers will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and voters are permitted to cast their ballots at any voting center on their respective island.
