4 BFEC graduates on 3-week internship @Saba Rock Resort

SABA ROCK, VI- Four recent graduates from the Bregado Flax Educational Centre on Virgin Gorda are engaged in a three-week internship with the Saba Rock Resort.

According to the Government Information Service (GIS), this marks the second collaboration between the Department of Labour and Workforce Development and the resort, aimed at advancing youth development by providing meaningful exposure to real-world work environments.

The interns will gain hands-on experience in the hospitality industry and develop critical soft skills.

The partnership, according to GIS, is already bearing fruit, with a former intern securing a head hostess job at a top resort in the Virgin Islands.
