ST. CROIX — The V.I. Police Department has opened a homicide investigation after a man was shot multiple times in the Mon Bijou area of St. Croix Tuesday morning and later died from his injuries. According to information provided by VIPD Director of Communications Glen Dratte, the 911 Emergency Call Center received a ShotSpotter notification at approximately 8:17 a.m. on Tuesday, indicating that numerous rounds had been fired in the Mon Bijou area.
