BVIEC Shockers struggle without injured Danielle Selkridge - as DYAS Industrial Volleyball League picks up the pace

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- BVIEC Shockers, badly missing their power hitter Danielle Selkridge, have suffered a third straight defeat in the Industrial Volleyball League ongoing at Multi-Purpose Sports Complex.

In the meantime, Moorings Sea Rangers and RVIP Defenders are the only unbeaten teams in Group A while ATU Serve-Vivors and Republic Bank Blue Thunder are the teams with an unblemished record in Group B.

Shockers’ Skelridge picked up an ankle injury three games ago when an opponent fell on one of her feet at the net.

BVIEC Shockers have since struggled without her, losing three straight games including to Moorings Sea Rangers (11-21, 18-21) on November 7, 2022.

RVIP Defenders defend undefeated record

Also winning on Monday were RVIP Defenders, who saw off the challenge of SDA Family Matters, 21-15, 21-18.

SDA Family Matters threatened to pull the second set back but the Defenders held firm.
