Could President Trump Deport Elon Musk?

Former White House adviser Steve Bannon has a pitch for President Donald Trump: Deport Elon Musk.

Trump and his former billionaire best friend Musk went through a massive, public end to their relationship this week, trading barbs and accusations after a fallout over the cost of the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.”

Bannon, who has long been one of Musk’s more verbal critics, called on Trump to deport Musk after the feud on Thursday.

“They should initiate a formal investigation of his immigration status, because I am of the strong belief that he is an illegal alien, and he should be deported from the country immediately,” Bannon told The New York Times.

Bannon also said Musk’s reported drug use should be investigated, among other things, and that his security clearance should be suspended in the meantime.
