Crucian Christmas Fest pageant Thursday night

ST. CROIX — Eleven contestants ranging from tots to teens are set to compete Thursday night in a single pageant for Crucian Christmas Festival royalty.

The show kicks off at 5 p.m. at Festival Village in Frederiksted with two contestants for Junior Miss St. Croix, two contestants each for Festival Prince and Princess, three contestants for Festival Duchess and two contestants for the Tiny crown.  The latter, a new entry to Festival, will be chosen based on selling popularity tickets, and online voting. The audience will get to see the 4-year-old contestants, Z’haria Charles from Tenacious Toddlers Learning Center and A’Leiya Edwin from pre-kindergarten classes at Pearl B. Larsen K-8 School, model “tea cup dresses” that evening.
