Dept. of Labor Hosting Rapid Reponse Event for Employees Impacted by Recent Pinnacle Layoffs

The V.I. Dept. of Labor announced Thursday it will host a rapid response information session for individuals recently impacted by the Pinnacle Services lay-off. The event will take place today from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Pinnacle Services facility.

D.O.L. said it provides this service to assist both businesses and individuals under the Rapid Response Program. "The vision of VIDOL is to administer a system of effective programs and services designed to develop, protect, and maintain a viable workforce," the department said.

According to the release, attendees will receive information regarding career services, filing for unemployment insurance, employment opportunities, training, and financial assistance.
