DNC Flies Banner Over ‘Qatar-a-Lago,’ RFK Jr. Faces Congress and More

President Donald Trump seems to be enjoying himself in Qatar, where he’s complimenting camels, signing deals and was greeted with a welcome ceremony fit for a king.

But if you care to find the Democratic National Committee’s response to the trip – and the ethical concerns around it – look to the South Florida sky, where the DNC has reportedly hired a plane to fly a banner that reads “Welcome to Qatar-a-Lago” over Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property.

Trump left Saudi Arabia for Qatar early this morning after breaking with decades of American foreign policy by meeting with interim Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa on the sidelines of a meeting in Riyadh.


Meanwhile, lawmakers on two House committees worked into the early hours marking up their portions of Trump’s budget megabill. A portion of the package which deals with tax rates advanced, but two other committees are still working, and the legislation has a long way to go.
