Government House Sends Easter Greetings and Encourages Campers to Keep Camp Areas Clean

Government House Communications Director Richard Motta announced that Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. is out of the territory and should return April 1. Bryan will visit Barbados, St. Vincent and the Grenadines to “foster stronger ties and explore avenues for collaboration and growth.”

Motta said Bryan also wished Virgin Islanders “a joyous and blessed holiday” and that the holiday week is a time for “reflection and renewal.” He also asked campers to clean up camp areas at the end of the holiday.

“While we encourage everyone to enjoy this time-honored tradition, I want to urge all campers to prioritize safety and environmental responsibility. Please be mindful of fire safety regulations and dispose of all waste properly so our beautiful beaches remain pristine and clean for everyone to enjoy,” Motta said.

Motta also outlined a series of town hall meetings for the public, including those who want to buy or build their first home. The program, V.I. Slice, is sponsored by the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority.
