Police Identify Two of Three Friday Homicide Victims

The V.I. Police Department on Sunday identified two of the three men who died in a three separate shootings that took place Friday afternoon and night.

The police did not suggest the three incidents were in any way connected, sending out separate news releases on each incident. The VIPD recorded a news briefing on the day of violence and posted it on the department’s Facebook page.

The first incident took place at approximately 2:51 p.m. Friday at Coki Point. Officers found a man who had received multiple gunshot wounds. The victim in that case was aken to the Schneider Regional Medical Center by ambulance and was reported Friday to be in serious condition. There has been no update on his condition since then.
