Shots Fired Outside Subbase Nightclub Lead to Four Arrests and Multiple Firearms Seized

A shots-fired incident outside a Subbase nightclub early Christmas morning led to the arrest of four men and the recovery of multiple firearms, ammunition, and spent shell casings, according to the V.I. Police Department.

VIPD said the incident occurred during the early morning hours of Thursday, December 25. At approximately 4:54 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area outside Encore Lounge following reports of gunfire. Upon arriving in the vicinity, officers located a vehicle matching the description provided by the 911 Emergency Call Center and initiated a traffic stop.

Police detained four male occupants during the stop. During the encounter, one individual fled the scene on foot and was observed discarding a firearm while attempting to evade officers. That suspect was subsequently apprehended without further incident.

Officers recovered multiple firearms, ammunition, and spent shell casings connected to the incident. The four individuals involved were identified as Kai Hendricks, Timori Bell, Shaqcoy Cheltenham, and Deshan Monsanto.
