St. Croix to host Sunfish Worlds Qualifier regatta

The St. Croix Yacht Club will play host to a qualifying event for the 2024 Sunfish World Championships next month when it holds its Sunfish/ILCA Open regatta.

The Sunfish/ILCA Open is scheduled for Saturday, June 8, and Sunday, June 9, in the waters off the north side of St. Croix, with competition in both the Sunfish and Laser classes.

The top five finishers in the Sunfish class will earn berths in the 2024 Sunfish World Championships, to be held Oct. 12-19 on Lake Ray Hubbard outside of Dallas, Texas.
