Unity Festival in St. Thomas: The Countdown Begins

With just under a month to go, anticipation is building for the Unity Festival, set to transform the Crown Bay Dock into a hub of music, culture, and unity on May 5th. This year's lineup, led by international icon Burna Boy, promises an unforgettable experience for attendees, despite a recent change to the event's schedule.

In a turn of events marked by both sadness and resilience, the Unity Festival organizers have announced that due to the passing of Peetah Morgan, Morgan Heritage will not perform as initially scheduled. The group, synonymous with reggae music's rich heritage and vibrant sound, has been rescheduled for a performance in the USVI on St. Croix, allowing fans to pay tribute to Morgan's legacy at a later date.

In light of Morgan Heritage's rescheduled performance, general admission tickets for the Unity Festival have been adjusted to start at $174 before taxes, making it more accessible for fans to witness the stellar lineup of artists slated to perform.

Headliner Burna Boy, the international sensation known for his electrifying performances and groundbreaking music, is set to take the stage, promising to deliver a show-stopping performance. Joining him is the Grammy Award-winning duo R. City, hailing from the Virgin Islands themselves, bringing their unique blend of pop, reggae, Soca and R&B to the festival.

Dancehall superstar Spice is also on the bill, ready to captivate the audience with her dynamic stage presence and hit tracks. Her performance is highly anticipated by fans eager to experience her energy live.
