UPDATE: Poker Run winner Jareem A. Todman doesn’t play poker 'generally'! - 2022 One VI Poker Run winner said he is always happy to support

CANE GARDEN BAY, Tortola, VI- He doesn’t play poker “generally”, but that didn’t stop Jareem A. Todman from emerging the winner of the inaugural One VI Poker Run on Sunday, July 10, 2022.

Todman and his crew of 14 on his vessel Midnight Dream circumnavigated Tortola from Cane Garden Bay, with stops to draw cards at Jost van Dyke, Virgin Gorda, Beef Island, Road Town and ended at Paradise Club at Cane Garden Bay.

“It was windy and a bit rough but everyone knew how to handle the sea,” Todman told Virgin Islands News Online, adding that there was just “a little rain heading to the third stop but that was needed to cool us down from the heat.”

Mr Todman, who pocketed $8,500 and a House of Luxury pendant for his winning hand, said it’s always a good feeling to win and that he was just grateful for his blessings.

‘Always happy to support’- Todman

“I don’t play poker generally but I’m always happy to support.”

Speaking of support, Todman said he was pleased to see a good turnout for the event.

“The support was good for the first one, great turn out. I know it’s only going to get bigger and better from here on out,” Todman stated.
