Burglary suspect hiding in woman’s bathroom also accused of sexual assault

A burglary suspect who allegedly hid in a woman’s bathroom and then sexually assaulted her was arrested by police on St. Croix.

Omarion Webbe, 22, was arrested and charged with first-degree burglary and first-degree unlawful sexual contact, the Virgin Islands Police Department said.

The case began at 2:17 p.m. on February 15, 2025, when a 911 dispatcher got a call from “a female who reported that there was a man in her house attempting to rob her and the line disconnected,” according to the VIPD.

VIPD mug shot of Omarion Webbe, 22, of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Patrol units were dispatched and the complainant informed them that the suspect was a black male wearing a gray shirt and shorts, police said.
