Cost. U. Less celebrating 30 years in business on STX with shopping deals, giveaways

Cost.U.Less on St. Croix has planned a $30,000 shopper giveaway as part of its 30th anniversary celebration doing business on St. Croix.

To mark the milestone, the store is hosting a three-day event packed with fun activities, and throughout this month 30 lucky shoppers will get a chance to win a $1,000 gift certificate. According to a released statement, customers, who spend at least $100 from the period beginning Oct. 1 — Oct. 28, will be able to enter the $30,000 Giveaway. With every qualifying purchase, customers will receive an entry form that they can drop into the Giveaway bin at the store. Multiple entries are allowed, giving shoppers more chances to win, the release stated.

At the end of the month, 30 winners will be selected at random to each receive a $1,000 Cost.U.Less gift certificate. The company said in its statement that it’s “an exciting way to say thank you to the loyal customers who have made Cost.U.Less their trusted local warehouse retailer for three decades.” Over the three-day event kicking off on Friday, there will be activities for both children and adults. Children’s face painting, bounce houses, fire dancers, free water to the first 50 customers daily, mobile food trucks, live entertainment with Hubert “DJ4T” Bethelmie spinning the latest hits, and a Spin-the-Wheel contest with prizes are among activities planned.
