As previously reported by BVI News, the incident occurred last week after Gumbs allegedly forced his way into his ex-girlfriend’s home, where she was reportedly with her current partner and teenage daughter. After allegedly entering the house through a window, Gumbs reportedly attacked the woman, delivering a brutal beating in front of her family.
The woman’s partner attempted to intervene but was allegedly threatened by Gumbs, who is said to have pulled a weapon. The man fled the scene and filed a report with the police, leading to Gumbs’ subsequent arrest.
