Fraser bemoans neglected Third District

Third District Representative Julian Fraser recently raised serious concerns in the House of Assembly, accusing the government of neglecting his constituency.

Fraser criticised the lack of development and attention his district has received, particularly regarding essential infrastructure and maintenance projects. He pointed out several areas needing improvement, including road repairs, water systems, and community facilities.

Fraser emphasised that the Third District has been overlooked for too long. He highlighted how the district has faced continued neglect, with projects either being delayed or not initiated at all. “The government’s responsibility is to develop the territory and maintain it,” Fraser said.

He expressed disappointment that despite the many needs of his district, there seemed to be no major projects or improvements being prioritised by the current administration. “The harbour is trash. Ellis Thomas Downs doesn’t exist anymore. The roads. The water situation. Is there another district in the territory that looked like the Third District?” he asked.
