Reggae legend Beres Hammond to perform in Broward County on August 24-25

Jamaican reggae superstar and the undisputed king of lovers rock, Beres Hammond, is set to return to Broward County for a two-night concert as summertime winds down.

Hammond’s “Forever Giving Thanks Tour” will stop at the Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, August 24, and Sunday, August 25, with performances starting at 7:30 p.m. These annual concerts have become highly anticipated events within the Jamaican community in Florida and among reggae enthusiasts.

Since 2015, every one of Hammond’s visits to the Broward Center has seen a full house, with the only exception being the pandemic-induced closure in 2020. This year is no different, as only a limited number of seats remain available for the shows.
