St. Thomas Coastal Zone Management Committee Meeting Set for February 13

Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources informs the public that the following St. Thomas Coastal Zone Management (CZM) Committee Meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 13. This meeting will be held via the video conferencing platform Microsoft Teams.

The agenda follows:

Public Hearing (public testimony will be heard) Federal Consistency Determination No. CZM0001-24 Virgin Islands Department of Housing (VIHA) requests permission to use FEMA Funds to replace the TuTu Senior Community Center.

The project scope will include demolition and new construction. The proposed project will include the demolition and removal of seven buildings, including one two-story and six one-story commercial masonry buildings and structures. The project is located on site 388A and 402 Anna’s Retreat, St Thomas, Virgin Islands.
