VI Cycling Federation to Host the ‘Riding for Tomorrow Road Race’ on Feb. 19

With sponsorship from the V.I. Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation, the Virgin Islands Cycling Federation (VICF) will host the Riding for Tomorrow Road Race at 7 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 19, beginning on Route 624 near Sally’s Fancy, St. Croix.

In keeping with the theme of the 2023 Agrifest, “Growing Today for Tomorrow…You, Me, All Ah We…in 2023,” the VICF hopes to produce a family-friendly environment where cyclists and spectators can focus on fitness, fun and friends.

The race will start at the former Milgie’s on Route 624 and head east to Union and Mount Washington. Cyclists will make a left and continue to Southgate, where they will make another left. From there, the course will go over the Christiansted Bypass and then through Beeston Hill, making a left at the Cool Out Bar onto Southside Road. The course will continue on Southside Road and finish at Milgie’s.
