Woman loses consciousness hospitalized after domestic attack

BVI News understands that a woman who resides in the Diamond Estate community was recently the victim of a life-threatening attack at the hands of her child’s father.

Our news centre understands that the woman presented to the hospital with serious injuries and refused to tell medical personnel how she sustained them. After admitting the victim for further care, the medical personnel alerted the police. However, it’s understood that the cops had the same problem extracting information from the victim who insisted she didn’t want her attacker to get in trouble.

It’s alleged that the victim and the attacker ended their relationship some two years prior and were cultivating a co-parenting relationship.

On the day of the incident, the attacker allegedly saw the victim at a location with another man and called her phone shortly after. He reportedly asked her to meet at his house to discuss an important matter.

Our sources say once the victim arrived at the attacker’s home, he repeatedly begged her to rekindle their relationship. When she refused he brandished a ring and asked her to marry him.
