My presidency will not be measured in applause- Zoe J. Walcott
In her remarks, President Walcott said her presidency will not be measured in applause but in access.
“True leadership does not elevate one, it elevates many. And so tonight, I do not stand before you alone. I stand with a team, with a community, and with a calling. We will serve with unity, lead with compassion, and leave behind a legacy that declares clearly, courageously, and unapologetically: Nobles Were Birthed Here.”
She thanked the other board members to answering the call to serve, calling them the “architects of execution” as they will be the ones to bring the vision of the Rotary Club of Central Tortola to life.
“I am humbled and inspired by your commitment. Now, as we press forward, we do so together, because more hands make for lighter work. We are reminded that our community agenda cannot be carried by one club alone…We will pool our talents, coordinate our calendars, and combine our voices to serve more strategically, more sustainably, and more powerfully.”
